Absolutely yes. Zanzibar is only 35 minutes by fast ferry from Dar es Salaam. A 2-night stopover before or after matches is very doable. Stone Town, white sand beaches, and some of the best seafood in Africa. Book ferries in advance — they fill up during the tournament.

Fast ferry takes 35 mins, slow ferry 2 hours. Azam Marine and Kilimanjaro Fast Ferry are the main operators. Don't leave Dar without going.
