Gorilla trekking permits in Uganda cost $800 per person for one hour with the gorillas in Bwindi. Permits are strictly limited — book through Uganda Wildlife Authority well in advance. A 2-night add-on around a match-free gap is very doable.

Worth every cent. Combine with a night at one of the lodges near the park. Don't try to do it as a day trip from Kampala.
