Your national colours, obviously. East African stadiums are open-air so evenings can be surprisingly cool — bring a layer. Comfortable shoes matter more than you'd think after a long matchday. And bring a small bag for water, snacks, and your phone.

I always bring a scarf regardless of weather — great for photos and you'll see why when the atmosphere starts building.
