Which SIM card should I buy for Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania?

Each country has its own network — there's no single SIM for all three. In Kenya get Safaricom (best coverage). In Uganda get MTN Uganda or Airtel. In Tanzania get Vodacom or Tigo. All available at the airport on arrival for $3–$8 with a data bundle.

Safaricom in Kenya is non-negotiable. Airtel Uganda is solid. In Tanzania Vodacom was fine for me in Dar and around the stadium.
