AFCON history
Senegal's only confirmed title came in 2021. They reached the final again at AFCON 2025 and won 1-0 in extra time against hosts Morocco — but the result is currently under dispute (see note below) after CAF's Appeal Board later ruled the match forfeited.

Won the AFCON 2025 final 1-0 against Morocco on the pitch. CAF's Appeal Board later overturned this, awarding Morocco a 3-0 forfeit win; Senegal has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the matter remains unresolved.
