Venues not yet officially confirmed: CAF has not published a final stadium list for AFCON PAMOJA 2027. The venues below are the candidates most widely reported based on each host nation's existing top-tier stadiums and renovation plans. We'll update this page the moment CAF confirms the official list.

Kenya's flagship stadium, 10km north of the Nairobi CBD. Built in 1987, it has hosted major African football for decades. The atmosphere at Kasarani during big matches is electric — steep stands, a passionate crowd and good sightlines throughout.
Matatu from CBD (route 10/11), taxi ~25 min from Westlands, or AFCON shuttle buses during match days. Parking available but limited on match days.

Nairobi's second stadium, located in Langata near Wilson Airport. More intimate than Kasarani — closer to the pitch, great atmosphere. Surroundings include Uhuru Gardens, one of Kenya's most significant heritage sites.
Matatu from CBD, taxi from Westlands ~20 min. Accessible from Karen and Langata. Match-day shuttles from Nairobi CBD expected.

Kenya's coastal city host venue. Mombasa brings a unique atmosphere — Indian Ocean breeze, coastal Swahili culture, and a fan base that includes local Muslim communities and beach tourists. Matches here will feel different to Nairobi.
Tuk-tuks and matatus from Mombasa town. Taxi from Nyali and North Coast hotels ~25–40 min depending on traffic.

Uganda's main national stadium, 12km from Kampala's CBD on Namboole Hill. Opened in 1997, it's hosted Cup of Nations qualifiers and major African club football. The hill location gives it distinctive views — on a clear day you can see across Kampala from the upper tiers.
Boda boda or special hire taxi from Kampala CBD (~30–40 min). Match-day minibuses from Old Taxi Park. The road gets congested — allow 90 min on match days.
Kampala's second venue, located in the Lugogo suburb — one of the city's commercial hubs. This is the most urban stadium of the three Uganda venues, with shopping centres, restaurants and bars walkable from the ground. Great for the full matchday-out experience.
5–10 min boda boda from Kampala CBD. Taxis from most city hotels. Lugogo is well-connected and easy to navigate.

Tanzania's premier stadium and the largest candidate AFCON 2027 venue. Named after Tanzania's third president, it opened in 2007 and has undergone renovation work ahead of the tournament. Its 60,000 capacity would make it the loudest venue in the tournament if confirmed.
Dala dala from CBD, taxi from Masaki and Oyster Bay ~25 min. Located in Dar's southern Uhuru district. Match-day shuttles from city hotels expected.
